My First Interview Experience
Last year, I had an opportunity to attend an interview for a renowned company through my college's campus placement. In this post, I will share my experience, highlighting the scenario of an interview process. On the 6th day of Durga Puja, I took and cleared the CBT exam for XYZ company. In early December, I was invited for an interview.
Upon arrival, I received a visitation card and entered a chilled seminar hall with approximately 60 students from various disciplines. We were each given a piece of paper to provide basic information and then underwent document verification, which took about half an hour.
Following the name-wise roll call, I proceeded to the first round of interviews, followed by a second round. Although I wasn’t well prepared, my nervousness was palpable- my heart racing, my hands sweating, and feeling tense during my whole interview time.
After the interview, I felt immense relief and contentment. That was my first interview experience, and I will always cherish those memories. It taught me valuable lessons about preparation, confidence and perseverance.
